UNIPODS is an off-site construction technology specialist in the UAE, and is increasing its product portfolio with kitchen pods, under the brand name “UNIKITCHENS”. The company has purchased the complete automated production machinery from the well-known Grange Kitchens & Interiors in the UK and is setting up its own fully automated kitchen pod factory.

The purchase and set up of UNIKITCHENS fits with the overall vision of UNIPODS: “improving the efficiency, quality and profitability of the construction industry by implementing off-site construction technology in key areas of the building”.

UNIPODS will design, manufacture, deliver and install high quality kitchens pods manufactured off-site, under the brand name “UNIKITCHENS”. UNIPODS will also have the ability to supply free-standing kitchens for large scale building project in the UAE. The UNIKICTHENS will be manufactured on fully automated machinery, in a new 55.000 sqft purpose build factory in Ras Al Khaimah, next to the bathroom pod facory.

Based on the very strong interest for the UNIPODS bathroom pods products and for the complete washroom solution sold under the UNIBOARDS name, we are convinced that the leading architects, contractors and developers also will see all the benefits of a off-site manufactured kitchen pod, produced in a consistent high quality in a factory controlled environment.

UNIPODS has ensured that the strong team from Grange Kitchens & Interiors in the UK also is behind the product in the UAE. Mr. David Steven has been employed as GM for UNIKITCHENS, responsible for the day to day running of the division including design, sales, marketing and commercial areas. Mr. Chris Collier has been employed as Operations Manager responsible for the production and all technical aspects of the product. Mr. Steven and Mr. Collier are currently working on the dismantling of the production machinery in the UK, transportation to the UAE and set up of the factory in Ras Al Khaimah.

Once the kitchen factory is finished, UNIPODS will have more than 300.000 sqft production facilities in Ras Al Khaimah for our 3 main products, UNIPODS bathroom pods, UNIBOARDS complete washroom solutions and the UNIKITCHENS kitchen pods.
